Shaun Tan is one of Australia's most well known children's book illustrators both in Australia and overseas. His books include The RabbitsThe Lost ThingThe Red TreeTales from Outer Suburbia as well as The Arrival which, since being published in 2006, has been internationally recognised for breaking new ground in children's book publishing. In 2011 he received the prestigious Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award, honouring his contribution to international children`s literature. His latest books, released in 2018, are Cicada and Tales from the Inner City. Each print is printed, signed and numbered by Shaun Tan. He has used lightfast pigmented inks on archival paper.

Illustrator Shaun Tan

Shaun Tan grew up in Perth and works as an artist and writer in Melbourne. He is best known for illustrated books that deal with social and historical subjects through dream-like imagery.
