Louise Hamill

Louise Hamill b.1985, is an emerging artist from Aotearoa/NZ, based in Mandoon Whadjuk Boodja / Guildford Western Australia.

Primarily self taught, Louise approaches her practice from an intuitive point of view, using a love for nature, meditation & channelling to create decorative, spiritually charged artworks.

Informed by a lifelong relationship with both the natural & the supernatural realms, it is the artist’s desire to produce works which combine the material world with the other.

Louise has exhibited in solo & group exhibitions, including Melbourne International Fashion Week, Mundaring Art Centre, City of Perth Light Locker Project, City of Gosnells Whiteley Room, Bellevue Art Space and Gotham Studios Gallery. Studio residencies include Cool Change Contemporary in 2019 & Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts in 2022.
