văn se vănvās (exile from the forest)
The concept for this artwork began by wondering whether in the future animals will exist only in the forms of logos and brand identities? Human fascination and obsession with animals stretch back from prehistoric rock carvings to the current plethora of emblems for famous clothing, sports, collegiate and other brands. The kaavads
are a dialogue with folk art that question the consequences of the commodification and extinction of animals.
