This hat was created using a design made using a number of elements of original artworks by Mrs Read, who loved to paint the all the native flowers and fruits that could be found on Yindjibarndi country. For her, painting, country and wellbeing went hand in hand and she was a brilliant and fierce artist who fought bravely for her country and her people.
