Linen Tea Towel - Three Honeyeaters

Blue Lawn Designs

These skilfully hand screen printed tea towels by Blue Lawn Designs are made by Chris in his studio in Fremantle and are a very popular gift with tourists and locals alike!

The New Holland Honeyeater (Phylidonyris novaehollandiae) is found throughout southern Australia. It is a very active and gregarious bird and when danger approaches, a group will form together giving out warning calls. They feed from plant species such as Banksia, Hakea, Xanthorrhoea (Grass tree), and Acacia and supplement their diet with insects. They make a bowl-shaped nest in shrubs or small trees and usually lay two eggs.
