Leanne Peck is a foundation artist of the Ku’arlu Mangga Aboriginal Art Centre. Peck grew up in Wiluna and is an artist who often uses recycled and found objects in her works. Since 2015, Peck has been developing her painting and print making practice with Ku’arlu Mangga. Leanne says, “After a long period away from the art centre due to illness and then the cyclone which closed our studios for twelve months, I have been returning to my practise through earlier figurative work. I have recently been exploring new techniques with transparent inks and wet paper processes such as embossing."
