She completed a Bachelor of Design (Hons) at RMIT, Vic in 2011 before enrolling in an Advanced Diploma of Jewellery at Central Institute, WA. With a desire to master a range of crafts and be able to realise the designs in her head, she collects tools and machines and completes countless short courses in a range of mediums throughout the year. Working from her studio at J Shed art studios in Fremantle she is frequently mentored by master jewellery Max Butcher alongside her regular practice.
All Many Peaks Assembly products are designed and made in-house as one-off pieces or in small quantities. Unique and exquisitely finished, Many Peaks Assembly is built around the idea that good design lies in superior form and function, without compromising one over the other; leading to the production of things that will ultimately be kept for longer without need or want for replacement.
With a background in contemporary craft retail, galleries and craft councils, she is a strong advocate for contemporary makers in Australia. Upon moving to WA, she strives to create opportunities for local designers and makers through collaborative projects and commissions. One such project is Wong + Megirian where Rose and photographer Bo Wong combine their skills to showcase & promote innovative approaches to craft, art & design through contemporary art direction & photography.
