Designer/Maker

Rose Megirian

Many Peaks Assembly was established in 2013 as the cross-disciplinary studio of Rose Megirian.

As a highly skilled artisan with an academic background in both design and psychology, MPA is founded on a belief in the enduring value of useful, beautiful, finely crafted things and their role in intersectional well-being.

With a particular interest in the impacts the things we adorn ourselves with, personal objects and spaces have on the way that we feel and behave, Rose works across a range of materials and techniques steeped in tradition to create luxurious garments, contemporary jewellery, refined homewares, art works and precious objects as tools for reflection, comfort, and delight.

Alongside her making practice, she provides services in art direction, sourcing, and consultation to clients with an appreciation for the unexpected. Her ability to build visual language through unique objects, materials and textures and an ethos underpinned by quality craftsmanship, natural materials, and emotional connection, is evident in all that she does. All Many Peaks Assembly pieces are designed and made in-house as one-offs or in small quantities.

Frequently collaborating with other local creatives to realise ambitious projects and push the boundaries of her craft, every undertaking is a joyful celebration of inquiry – playfully imagined, and masterfully produced.

One such project is Wong + Megirian where Rose and photographer Bo Wong combine their skills to showcase & promote innovative approaches to craft, art & design through contemporary art direction & photography.
