Born in Papulankutja (Blackstone) in 1997, Ningbell spent her early years in this area, travelling around with her parents, from whom she learnt about her Ngaanyatjarra culture, heritage and language. Ningbell later went to school in Papulankutja Community, where she learnt her second language, English. Ningbell’s unique name was composed by her grandmother and Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunyjatjara Womens’ Council Director Maimie Butler. |
