Matthew Brown

Matthew Brown presents images and objects made accessible and collectible through the internet. His recent work is concerned with the subversive possibilities of subjective, fan-oriented modes of collection in relation to institutional practices and ‘higher’ modes of display.

Brown received his BFA (Honours with First Class Honours) from Curtin University. His work has been exhibited nationally in both group and solo shows; including exhibitions at Bus Projects (VIC), Institute of Modern Art (QLD), Feltspace (SA), and Cool Change Contemporary (WA).
